1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SignovaX ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SignovaX provides an electronic signature platform that allows users to upload PDF documents, place signature fields, and send documents to recipients for electronic signing. The Service generates audit trails to support the legal validity of signatures.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
One person may not maintain more than one account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Upload documents containing illegal, harmful, or fraudulent content.
Use the Service to forge signatures or impersonate others.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' data.
Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or overload the Service.
Violate any applicable laws or regulations.

5. Electronic Signatures

SignovaX provides Simple Electronic Signatures (SES) as defined under eIDAS and equivalent to signatures under the ESIGN Act (US) and UETA. These signatures are legally binding for most business documents. However:

SignovaX does not provide Advanced Electronic Signatures (AES) or Qualified Electronic Signatures (QES).
Some document types (e.g., wills, real estate transfers) may require higher levels of authentication in certain jurisdictions.
It is your responsibility to determine whether electronic signatures are appropriate for your specific use case.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all documents you upload. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit your documents solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

7. Pricing and Payment

The Service offers a Free plan with limited usage, and paid plans (Pro, Business) with higher limits and additional features. Regarding pricing and billing:

You will not be charged without your explicit consent.
Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or yearly) unless cancelled.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
New users may receive a free trial of Pro features. After the trial, your account reverts to the Free plan unless you subscribe.

8. Refunds

If you are unsatisfied with the Service, you may request a refund within 14 days of your initial purchase. Refunds are not available for renewal charges — please cancel before the renewal date. Refund requests should be sent to support@signovax.com.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability. We are not liable for any losses resulting from Service downtime.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SignovaX shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the dashboard. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in Belgrade, Serbia.
