PAYMENT AGREEMENT

This Payment Agreement (the "Agreement") is made on [DATE] between:

Payee (owed money): [PAYEE NAME], located at [ADDRESS] ("Payee"); and

Payer: [PAYER NAME], located at [ADDRESS] ("Payer").

1. ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF BALANCE
The Payer acknowledges owing the Payee a total of [TOTAL AMOUNT] (the "Balance") for [REASON / DESCRIPTION]. The Payer agrees this amount is correct and payable under the terms below.

2. PAYMENT PLAN
The Payer agrees to pay the Balance as follows:
For example: [NUMBER] installments of [AMOUNT] on the [DAY] of each month, starting [DATE], until the Balance is paid in full.

3. PAYMENT METHOD
Payments will be made by [PAYMENT METHOD] to [ACCOUNT / DETAILS]. Each payment will be applied first to any fees, then to the outstanding Balance.

4. LATE PAYMENTS
If any payment is more than [NUMBER] days late, a fee of [AMOUNT] may be added to the Balance.

5. DEFAULT
If the Payer misses [NUMBER] or more consecutive payments, the Payee may declare the entire remaining Balance immediately due and pursue any remedy available at law, including collection costs where permitted.

6. EARLY PAYMENT
The Payer may pay off the Balance early, in full or in part, at any time without penalty.

7. FULL SETTLEMENT
Once all payments are made, the Balance is considered paid in full and the Payee releases the Payer from any further obligation for it. The Payee will provide written confirmation on request.

8. GENERAL PROVISIONS
(a) Governing Law. This Agreement is governed by the laws of [STATE/COUNTRY].
(b) Entire Agreement. This Agreement is the complete agreement between the parties and replaces any prior discussions, understandings, or agreements on this subject.
(c) Amendments. Any change to this Agreement must be in writing and signed by both parties.
(d) Severability. If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
(e) Waiver. If a party does not enforce a provision, it does not give up its right to enforce that or any other provision later.
(f) Assignment. Neither party may assign or transfer this Agreement without the other party's prior written consent.
(g) Notices. Any notice under this Agreement must be given in writing (email is acceptable) to the other party.
